Overview

The one day wine tour is perfect to incorporate into your Loire Valley schedule or as a stand-alone day visit, whether novice or connoisseur.

The tour takes place in the largest white wine producing area in France, moving between the towns of Vouvray and Montlouis-sur-Loire, allowing you to experience the large array of diversity and unique expressions found in this area: sparkling, still, dry and sweet.

You will be chauffeured by your personal guide, so you are able to truly take advantage and enjoy the wines on offer.

Itinerary

Explore the plateau-top vineyards, be mesmerized by centuries old wine caves and partake in a local wine tradition, along with enjoying a beautifully prepared 3-course lunch, being welcomed into private chateaux and of course, tasting some of the finest wines of the region and its neighbors.

My Mom and I participated in the cooking class/wine pairing day. David picked us up at our hotel and brought us to the cooking class. The chef and his wife were so great, fun to talk with and we made some delish beef dishes. While the food was cooking we did a quick wine tasting in a cave down the street before returning back to finish cooking and eat our meal. It was a great way to spend day in the Loire Valley!

Dear Claire,
It has been a month since we returned from our Loire Valley winery tour with Audrey. We are still talking about the wonderful day we had in such a beautiful setting. Audrey made our visit so special. She was friendly, informative and gave us the perfect day. We have been to Amboise a number of times but had never taken a tour. Learning about the area's wine production and taking home our own labeled bottle was so much fun. We did a one day wine tour with Thierry and had an unforgettable day touring, lunching and drinking some spectacular wines in the loire valley.
Our train tickets from Paris were organised for us and it was only an hour train trip with beautiful scenery to get there.
The highlight was a magnificent three course lunch which was as good as any Michelin star restaurant. Lots of surprises along the way.
We felt like we had met up with relatives that had the pleasure of showing us their region. Amazing !

This was by far the highlight of our 3 day visit to the Loire Valley area.
Our tour guide (Manon) was smart, informative, and a pleasure to spend time with. We had a great time talking with her about wine, details of the area, and travel in general.
We learned a good bit about the wine making process and tasted some really nice wines and cheeses. Lunch was great. We are foodies and were impressed with their choice. Bottling our own wine with the addition of personalized labels was a nice touch.
